Vietnam’s export values of steel products reach US$1.3 billion in first nine months

According to the data issued by Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) on October 14th, Vietnam exported the steel products valued US$1.3 billion in the first nine months of this year.
Among them, 285,600 tons were steel billets; 181,500 tons were construction steel products; 85,600 tons were steel pipes; 106,300 tons were galvanized steel plates and 530,500 tons were cold rolled coils.
Recently, the supply of the steel products has exceeded the demand in Vietnam’s domestic market. Thus, Vietnamese steelmakers have sought to sell products to export market to offset the decreased sales in domestic market.
