Brazil’s output of motor vehicle increases by 6% m-o-m in August
|
According to data released by the Brazilian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Anfavea), Brazil’s output of motor vehicle totaled 325,300 units in August, up by 6% from July.
Also, the figures soared by 5.5% in comparison of that in the same period of last year.
At the same time, the new motor vehicle registrations in Brazil totaled 327,355 units in August, rose by 7% from July and increased by 4.7% year on year.
Meanwhile, the country’s imports of motor vehicles totaled 73,611 units in August, soared by 9.2% from a month earlier and surged by 28.6% year on year.
Besides, the data also showed that the country’s motor vehicle output in the first seven months of this year totaled 2.34 million units, increased by 4.5% year on year.
