Posco signs MOU with Colombia
|
Posco announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Colombia to participate in resource development and steel businesses with local companies.
One joint-ventured agreement is to cooperate with Blue Pacific Assets Corp., a local resources development company, to develop iron ore and coal in the Latin American country.
On the other hand, POSCO also planned to partner with Fanalca SA, a local auto parts company, to construct a steel pipe plant in Columbia with the annual production capability of 200,000 tons of large-sized steel pipes.
