Brazil’s July crude steel output increases by 5.4% m-o-m
|
Brazilian Steel Institute (IABr) reported that the country’s July crude steel output totaled 3.12 million tons, increased by 5.4% from a month earlier and it soared by 8.5% year on year.
At the same time, Brazil’s production of rolled steel was 1.96 million tons, down by 8.64%.
Besides, Brazil’s crude steel production in the first half of this year totaled 20.95 million tons, soared by 8.8% year on year.
Meanwhile, its output of rolled steel totaled 14.89 million tons in the first half of this year, down by 4% year on year.
