Turkish PPI for basic metal industry surges by 3.69% m-o-m in August
|
According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the Producer Price Index (PPI) for Turkish industry in July increased by 1.76% from June. Also, it surged by 11% in comparison of that in the same period of last year.
At the same time, the PPI for basic metal industry surged by 3.69% month on month in August and it increased by 36.37% year on year.
Besides, the PPI for domestic manufacture of metal products, except machinery rose by 1.98% from a month earlier and it hiked by 10.71% year on year.
