LME nickel prices dip further
|
It’s reported that the nickel prices at LME dipped further on September 5th.
The nickel prices in three months delivery were at US$20,895/ton and the spot nickel prices were at US$20,852/ton. The inventory was at 102,408 tons.
Though the nickel prices ever rebounded to US$21,500/ton last week; however, it dropped by US$605/ton to break US$21,000/ton on this Monday.
Industry sources said that the weak nickel prices would depress the stainless steel market as buyers might take wait-and-see attitude on decreasing nickel prices and poor demand.
