Thai imposes 30.91% of AD duty on China’s HRC
|
It’s reported that Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce decided to impose a final antidumping duty of 30.91% on hot rolled coil (HRC), pickled coil and hot rolled plate imported from China,
However, some importers will be exempted from the AD duty, including those who process the targeted HRC imports into finished products for re-export at premises within recognized Thai Industrial Zones and those who operate plants with a license issued by the Board of Investment.
Also, those who imported no more than 1,000 tons of the materials for marine application annual will be exempted as well.
Besides, the imports of grade S45C steel and coils above the width of 1,635mm will not be included in the AD duty rules.
The AD duty rule will become effective from August 11st.
