Japan's stainless steel imports down in July
|
According to the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), in July, Japan imported 14,797 tons of stainless steel products, down by 15.8 percent compared with June's 17,569 tons while compared with last July's 10,742, up by 37.7 percent.
Meanwhile, from January to July, the total imports reached 94,300 tons. In July, the imports are mainly from South Korea at 11,927 tons, Taiwan 881 tons, and China provided 562 tons.
