American alloy surcharge to rise in Oct

Stainless alloy surcharge is predicted to rise in October after consecutive three month rise.
The surcharge on 304 stainless steel is expected to increase to US$1.02/ pound by 8.6 percent from that in September. Also, the surcharge on 316 will increase to US$1.48/pound.
Buyers rushed to place orders in September concerned about the surcharge increase in October, said stainless producers.
