Vale to increase nickel production
|
Brazilian mining giant Vale said it will restart the Creighton nickel mine and run into operation with full capacity.
The company will enhance the production of Coleman mine field and a mine field in Sudbury of Lake Ontario which the strike has lasted for seven months. This movement will ease the tension between steel workers and company.
The processed iron ore from these mine fields will be supplied to Vale’s Copper Cliff metallurgical refinery in Sudbury which is operating with half capacity and using ore stock.
