ThyssenKrupp develops new processing mode for stainless steel welding
|
Germany's ThyssenKrupp announced that its subsidiary company, Tailored Blanks GmbH, has developed a new processing mode for stainless steel welding.
It can use laser welding to weld different thicknesses and different coated steel based materials together. ThyssenKrupp said this new technical mode will be used by the automobile industry, especially for muffler production.
ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG has already sold 100,000 tons of organic coating steel sheet: PLADUR ZM, and the company said that production of another new coating steel product: PLADUR ZM Premium, has already started.
