Chinese steel export grows in October
|
Chinese steel export in October increased to 2.71 million tons by 240,000 tons from previous month.
Meanwhile, the total value of Chinese steel export was US$2.1 billion, up by US$1.16 million from September while the value of Chinese steel import was US$1.5 billion, down by US$4.34 million from September.
The market analyst said that trade protectionism somewhat dampens China’s steel exports, but export drop results mostly from global economic recession.
