Japanese common steel products imports drop in November
|
Japanese common steel products imports dropped by 5.7 percent to 279,000 tons in November 2008 compared to the same period of last year.
Korea ranked the largest exporter of steel product to Japan at 152,000 tons, down by year-on-year 13.5 percent.
China was the second biggest provider at 68,000 tons, up by 79.4 percent from the same time of last year last year. Taiwan was the third one at 53,000 tons, decreased by 22 percent from the same month of previous year.
