Lisco increases stainless prices for February
|
China’s Lianzhoung Stainless Steel Corp (Lisco) has announced the price increase by RMB$500/ton for February.
Lisco reveals that February production will be reduced even further after 40 percent cut down in January. Regarding the new product 304J1, the mill had small production last month, and the market responds positively.
According to statistics, China was the world largest stainless steelmaker in 2007, holding one quarter of the global outputs. The world’s stainless steel yielded total 28 million tons last year with 7.2 million tons from China.
