Yusco to up stainless steel prices for May
|
Due to the rising nickel price and steel mills under cost pressure, Yusco, the largest stainless steel producer in Taiwan, announced to increase its prices for May.
According to new price lists released by Yusco, the prices of 300 series hot rolled and cold rolled were increased by US$300.48/mt, and US$390.63/mt for 316L material.
Additionally, the billet price was increased by US$360.58 - 600.96/mt. In the meantime, Yusco also raised its export prices of HRC and CRC by US$300–350/mt.
Yusco stated that the average nickel cost was US$46,325/mt for March, but US$50,425/mt for April, increasing by US$4,100/mt based on LME's dealing price.
