Yongning stainless to produce 40,000 tons of CR strip

China’s Zhejiang Yongning Stainless Steel Co., a privately-held company based in Yuyao city in eastern Zhejiang province, will produce approximate 40,000 tons of CR stainless strip product in 2006. Its output for crude steel and CR stainless has raised significantly since an AOD refinery furnace established in April of 2005. The company makes 50,000 tpy for crude stainless, while outputs for HR and CR are about 40,000 tpy individually. Although stainless grade 304 occupied around 10 percent of its output, the main products Zhejiang Yongning Stainless make are 200 series. For CR strip item, the size is typically with thickness between 0.27mm and 1.8 mm and width under 425mm.
