JFE plans to increase chrome based stainless product price
|
Japanese second largest steel mill, JFE Steel Corporation plans to increase domestic chrome based stainless steel cold rolled coil and steel pipe prices, the increase will be ¥10,000(US$84.93). The increase level was nearly the same with it was in September. The reason for the price increase was the high raw material costs and tight market supply, now most end users will focus on chrome based stainless steel. Meanwhile, the competitor Nippon steel is considering to increase its chrome based stainless steel price as well. (Nov. 22)
