Taiwan scrap price drops again this week
|
The scrap price in the Taiwan market has shown a slight decrease again this week. The deal price of scrap in southern Taiwan is around NT$8, 500/ton, showing a drop of NT$100/ton. Prices in central and northern Taiwan is still at around NT$8, 700/ton. The weak demand from the mills is still the main reason behind the decreasing scrap price. (May 19)
