Tang Eng haven't got enough scrap

Taiwan’s Tang Eng released purchase order for scrap this morning. The objective is to purchase 8, 000 metric tons. There is only around 1, 500 tons of scrap available for the market under the deal price of NT$9,100/ton. The remainder of the order is expected to be purchased at between NT$9, 200 and 9, 300/ton. The cost of scrap from Japan is currently around NT$8, 800/ton and that is more or less on par with the local market price. (May 5)
