Russian pig iron and A3 scrap prices continue rising

The price of pig iron has increased along with the continuous rise in the price of international scrap. The current CNF Taiwan price of pig iron from Russia is between US$292 and 295/mt, showing a rise of US$20 and 25/mt. The price of A3 scrap has continued rising due to tight supplies. The new quotation price is CNF Taiwan US$270 and 275/mt from Russia. (Mar. 29)
