Hot rolled steel prices in China’s Jinan province drop

China’s Handan Iron and Steel and Tisco have both lowered their carbon steel 4.5mm hot rolled plate prices. The prices were lowered to RMB3, 680/ton, down RMB40/ton compared to the previous price. The price of 1.0 mm carbon steel cold rolled coils from Wisco was lowered by RMB100/ton to RMB5, 250/ton. The price of 1.0mm*1000 carbon cold rolled coil from the Pangang Group is around RMB5, 200/ton. (Mar. 17)
