Ukraine to supply pipes to Turkmenistan as part of debt pay off agreement

Ukraine will repay their natural gas debt to Turkmenistan in part with steel pipes. According to an agreement between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, Ukraine will pay US$59.6 million of the debt in foreign currency while some US$55.1 million of the debt will be paid with the supply of steel pipes. The payment of the remaining US$12.2 million debt is still under negotiation. (Mar. 13)
