European mills raise April stainless steel surcharges

Outokumpu and Ugine & ALZ have raised their stainless steel 304 surcharges for April. Outokumpu will raise their surcharge by €48/mt while Ugine & ALZ announced a €47/mt rise. The 304 surcharge from Outokumpu will be €948/mt for April compared to the March level of €900/mt. The surcharge form Ugine & ALZ will increase from €883 to €930 in April. In addition, the 316 surcharge for April will remain very similar to March levels with Outokumpu and Ugine & ALZ adding €1/mt and €23/mt respectively. (Mar. 3)
