Turkish wire rod imports being investigated by Eurofer

The European Steel Federation is currently gathering anti dumping information against wire rod imported from Turkey. Evidence is currently being considered and this could lead to an anti dumping case being lodged against Turkish wire rod imports to Spain. Eurofer has not commented on the investigation and they have not released the company names involved. The final result will depend on Eurofer's finding to the European Commission. In addition to this statement, rumors have been doing the rounds that some European mills are preparing to bring an anti-dumping case against the import of Turkish rebars. (Feb. 24)
