IOC to implement new IT systems
|
Iron Ore Co of Canada (IOC) plans to adapt a new information technology system at its Labrador City iron ore concentrator. The IOC has chosen Massachusetts based Invensys Process Foxboro to integrate and build the multiple automation system with better control process for its operation. The contract includes services from Invensys System Canada covering engineering services, factory acceptance testing, training service and field services. Labrador City iron ore concentrator is Canada’s largest concentrator and has annual production output of 16 million tons. (Jan. 16)
