Russia’s November billet exports up
|
Russian export of plate billet has continued to grow. Exports for November totaled 620, 000 tons with the Asian market in particular benefiting from the rising exports. During December Russia delivered goods to Turkey and Southeast Asia at US$280 to 300/mt FOB while the price to US and European Union was at around US$320 to 340/mt US FOB. Ukraine plate billet price is still steady at US$280 to 290/mt FOB. (Jan. 12)
