Iran and Italy in talks again about Sangan iron ore factory

Discussions are set to continue between Iran's Sangan Iron Ore Company and Italy's Danieli SpA for the construction of the Sangan Iron Ore Factory. The factory will be built in the South Khorasan Province city of Khaf. Danieli was awarded the joint venture project three years ago but the initial plan never got off the ground. The value of the contract was $155 million for the 1.3 million ton factory. So now after three years, the two parties are again in negotiations to get the project of the ground. The factory will carry out condensation, conglomeration and agglomeration of iron ore for industrial usage. (Dec. 12)
