Posco snatch up Japanese steel manufacturers' end users in Thailand

In Thailand, Posco’s cold rolled plate price is much lower than that from the Japan-Thailand joint venture steel factory. Products imported form Posco is priced at about US$620/mt, but Japanese factories' sales price in Thailand market is about US$800/mt. Posco is now trying to enlarge their sales in Thailand take advantage of their price ascendancy. Japanese steel plants are trying to take action to stop this from happening. (Oct. 20)
