Delphi’s financial trouble bring more business to Taiwan
|
With auto parts producer Delphi announcing Chapter 11 bankruptcy recently, it is expected that some US$500 million worth of business will need new suppliers. This is good news for other global manufacturers who might now seize this business opportunity. Some US producers like Delphi, Visteon and Tower Automotive are all in financial difficulty, with some of them starting to emerge from their troubles. It is estimated 150 North America automobile accessory manufacturers will release the huge amount of business. At present, some of the Taiwan domestic accessory manufacturers has received orders from traders. The domestic manufactures who produce automobile hardware and accessory are looking forward to more opportunities that might turn up in the future. (Oct. 14)
