Posco plans to up ferritic stainless steel output
|
The unstable nickel price is causing stainless steel end user to change their usage to ferritic stainless steel. Therefore, Posco plan to increase the production volume on Frritic stainless steel. The total ferritic stainless steel production volume will reach up to 3 million tons on 2008 accounting for 35 percent of the company’s total stainless steel production volume. Moreover, the total net profit of Posco will be increase to US$4.5 billion in 2005. The total volume of the company will be reach up to US$22.8 billion. (Oct. 6)
